California - Santa Rosa Minimum Wage

The City of Santa Rosa passed a local ordinance that would set minimum wage within the boundary of the City at no less than $15 per hour effective July 1, 2020, for employers with 26 or more employees ($14 for employers with fewer than 25). Additionally, starting January 1, 2021, all employers would pay no less than $15 per hour plus annual adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W). Thereafter and following the model of the state, it would increase the minimum wage each year based on the prior year minimum wage rate plus CPI-W.
